I'm currently using Organic Chemistry as a Second Language and loving it. I'm looking for supplement help on physics. Has anyone used Introductory Physics with Algebra as a Second Language? Thoughts? Are there any other books that are helpful?

i used the physics with calc as a second language and I liked it. Not sure about the alg one.

I own the book but won't be using it until next semester. I did a lot of research on which physics supplement to buy and this one seemed like the best choice by far 👍. In general I think all of the 2nd language/Wiley books are great.

Organic chemistry as a 2nd language= amazing and actually helps you UNDERSTAND the material
Physics (with calculus) as a second language = I would buy it again. Maybe. It it was on sale.

What makes the organic as as 2nd language as such an invaluable source is the fact that he explains everything in a different light and in a way that goes above and beyond your text book. IMO, the physics book is just reiterating what your standard introductory physics textbook would. I would rather pick up a book like Schaums with a lot more concise explanations and a lot more practice problems (as practice problems are the key to physics)

I was about to make this same thread. I am going to take physics in the summer, and right now I ma taking Orgo2 and I am using Orgo as a Second Language Second Semester, and its at amazing.

I wonder if anyone else has any suggestions for physics supplemental material.
