Answer is 40

I am writing my OAT august 27th and have been spending all my time studying. But I am having SO MUCH trouble with physics...in my university in first year most of the bio students did a BIOphysics course...which was taught horribly and NO ONE learned anything....all my friends in my school writing the MCAT struggle with physics too because of that course...

That being said, Ive been trying So hard to teach myself this stuff but Im running out of ideas. I am taking the Kaplan course and bought the OAT destroyer. However, in the kaplan course, there isnt much physics help..its basically straight readings from the kaplan review book (I find the review book horrible for the physics section)....sooo how should I go about learning this stuff?? Should I learn from the OAT destroyer solutions??? Know ALL the 1001 examkrackers questions?? I really dont kno what to do..please give some advice!!

Hi! i completely understand, i was in the same situation...what i did was read the examkrackers physics book (not the 1001 problems but the one with summaries) and listened to the physics section of AudioOsmosis and that helped alot. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me..happy studying 🙂

Ive been trying to get my hands on that book! I figured it would help with concepts. So you think its a good idea?? Id have to order it online and dont know how long itd take..so I was questioning if I should do it or not. If its good and helps its worth it though.

there are no calculators allowed on the oat right? I feel like for the destroyer problems i need it though..do you guys use it for the destroyer?

I havent used the destroyer so i dont know but usually you can approximate and get the right answer...try checking ur local library for the examkracker book...thats where i got mine from

I have destroyer and I usually don't have a problem without a calculator. Your best bet is to get comfortable using approximations when dealing with complicated numbers. That's what I did and I feel like I can get through any problems.
