Attach is a picture about the question I have. Why is it that we don't have consider or take into account the angle to solve this question? The solution is simply W = mgh without the taking into account the angle. TIA!

I'm not sure what to say except they're only asking for the work required to raise the object. They question doesn't care about a component of the force required to raise the object.

work is a product of force and displacement time cos theta , the angle has to be between the Force and the displacement, if we change the angle showing the graph it will not change the work, MCAT adds extra things to confuse you.
