Physics Question (Kaplan FL5) - Please help!

Hi guys-

If any of you have taken Kaplan FL5 and can please explain to me question 42 from the Physical Sciences section I would really appreciate it.

the passage says the xray hits the photons "emitting a long wavelength"

since e =hf= hc/lambda

if lambda is high.. e is low

so they have a lower energy

I don't know if we have different versions of the test...but I remember the question you responded to though. My question was actually on #42 on the Physical Sciences section of Kaplan FL5 - if anyone could explain it i would really appreciate it. The question is on the passage about escape velocity...
