Physics req (calculus or algebra based)?

For the physics requirement I know that they want a year or so of general physics. My school offers two different series of general physics classes (calculus or algebra based). I spoke with the professors and the two have a lot on common. Does it really matter which series I take? Anyone facing a similar problem?

both series are acceptable to DS. But you know the algebra based one should be eaiser.. You don't want to get stressed from physics..

It's only going to matter if you care about your GPA.

No seriously. The calculus based one is much harder, and it's not even something that will give you an appreciable brownie points for going the extra mile. Take the algebra based one, do well in it, and use the extra time you'll have left over to volunteer or something.
