can this requirement be fulfilled by taking any physics class b/c in my school there are two courses that are almost exactly identical...physics and physical science...only difference is the first is for physics majors which means more rigourous mathematically....
 
As far as I know, you need to take the algebra based physics, both semesters. There is the calculus based physics, which is not what you need. And some schools even have an Intro to physics, which is similar to the full fledged two semester algebra based physics, but this one won't count either.

So whatever is the "normal" two semester physics course is probably the one you need.
 
I would talk with your pre health science advisor and see what he/she recommends. I'm guessing that the Physical science class is sufficent, based on your discription, but i'd want to make sure.
