Assuming that P50 = 26 torrs, under conditions where pO2 = 30 torrs, the average number of O2 molecules bound per hemoglobin molecule is closest to

0.5.
less than 1.
almost 2.
greater than 2.
greater than 3.

Hi anyone help me to solve this.....
 
The P50 is the partial pressure at which 50% of the binding sites are occupied; therefore, if the partial pressure is 30 torr, and hemoglobin has 4 oxygen binding sites, then my guess is 'greater than 2'.
