So I have a class that I took in undergrad that was a year long (8 semester units- 6 lecture 2 lab) which covered physiology with engineering concepts. Would this count as biology on AMCAS?

If its anything like my physiology for engineers than yes. If you actually had to learn many of the ways that the body functions, such as air inhalation and exhalation. The way that muscles flex and relax, etc and also incorporated within that is engineering concepts for devices that monitor/ help those functions should definetly, but you should have taken a year of biology anyway. I don't recall needing more bio but if I did use physio as a bio then Im pretty sure I contacted AMCAS, and you should do the same just to make sure.
