Hello everyone, I am new here. A few days ago, I heard an experiment about walking with eye closed and the head tilted on one side, whether to left or right. If it is done with head tilted to the right side, the result will be the subject will walk with deviation to right. I really need your help to figure out the mechanism of this and if so, please give me the reference.

Thank you in advance

1 eye closed = loss of depth perception

Head tilted = eye torsion to compensate = change in gait

I would guess vestibulocochlear apparatus involvement. It might be related to the direction someone falls after spinning clockwise or counterclockwise.
