Any suggestions for a big physiology text to use as a reference? I have the small Guyton (human physiology and the mechanism of diseases) and i really need a bigger book...

Any suggestions? Vander? Guyton (the big one)? Boron (i've heard that it is great...)

Constanzo's is the way to go, not big but extremely thorough

if you really want reference book Boron is the way to go... New Big Guyton is out... four color ills and easy reading, famous authors team. Costanzo is a great book for the course, but not really a reference book.

I like tortorra grabowski and wiley. Not sure of the spelling of the names, but Its my text for grad school at JHU and it was my anat/phys text during undergrad...

I have Boron and it's really helped my understanding of physio. Some chapters are better than others, but overall it's been pretty clear and comprehensive.

I used Guyton/Hall and loved it... I had the 10th edition, maybe a new one is out. I'd supplement with a BRS or Lange no matter what you get though.
