Hi All!
I searched through the forum and I didn't find anything that really seemed to answer my question, so I'll just ask it
Anyway, I'm planning on taking some courses over the summer, mainly light ones, to fulfill my Poli Sci degree reqs (I'm doubling in Poli Sci and Biochem), and someone with a license needs to stay here while my little sister is off at camp, so I figured I'd do something useful with my time at home, since I"m attending my local uni.
The thing is, I figured I'd be supremely bored with all humanities and no bio classes, and my friend suggested that I take Bio 472, which is Mammalian Physiology. It's offered over the summer, my advisor said it was a good idea to take it, but the lab component is only offered in the fall, so I'd have to take it with a couple other Biochem and Physics labs. These Physio courses aren't required for my majors at all.
My question is, is the lab component terribly necessary? Like, will adcoms wonder why I took the class and not the lab? I don't see why they'd question it, but I'd rather not take a work-intensive class when I'm taking other required classes.
Thanks so much! Good luck with apps and the new semester!
