pI is the isoelectric point of a molecule. I'm not sure if it's in organic or biochem. I learned about it in biochem, but didn't go too much in depth with it. it is just the point at which the particular molecule has no net charge. In biochem, we studied the pI for the amino acids at physiological pH.
