Has anyone who has taken the DAT had a passage on a piano in the reading comprehension?

My friend had this on his exam and he said the passage was tough, especially if you don't play the piano.

I heard this passage sucks worse than ethics. I'd have FRAP exam over this one any day. I can just imagine them having an essay with details about how a piano is built and how sound is released from it. Reminds me of an ACT passage I had. I know nothing about music. I can't even read musical notes.

I remember I had a passage on the ACT about 2 girls who liked horses. Most painful reading in my life. It really is unfair with the discrepancy of RC categories. Non-science for science people is much more difficult.

I got the piano passage, and it makes ethics seem like a joke. The questions are impossible unless you know about piano's from before hand. Half of the questions cannot be answered from the passage, the answers simply are not there. I got an 18 in RC my lowest mark onany section in the DAT. Piano sucks and just pray that you dont get it. It and the other 2 passages associated with it are full of tone questions and are damn near impossible to answer.

Ethics passage was just terrible. It felt like some 3rd grader wrote that passage with a dictionary and thesaurus.
ive taken the dat three times.. ethics was the worst passage i had. I also had another hard passage the second time i took the dat, it was about Neurobiology.. also a tough read but it was just technical yet still understandable and MADE SENSE.

I wish that I got the piano passage, I've been playing for 15 years. If you guys have any questions about piano (in general that is) I'd be more than happy to help.
