Picking away rotations. What were your favorite pm&r programs?

Hi all,

My school has us picking away rotations soon. I was wondering which programs have the best direct experience for students? I'm open to programs of any tier anywhere in the country.

Kessler, Jefferson, Temple, and Mayo all have great rotations for visiting students. There are many more I'm sure, these are the programs I'm familiar with.

Hi all,

My main concerns are getting a good feel for inpatient pm&r and having an approachable staff for Letters of Recommendation.

I thought Spaulding provided a really good experience. Definitely recommend!

Rotated at Mayo, loved it, probably the only reason I got an interview and then matched there to be honest..don't have most stellar scores and CV but was able to prove myself with the rotation. If there is a program you would really want to be at for residency, I'd make that place your top choice to rotate at. Can really give you a leg up.

Also note some programs (Mayo) have their own app process outside of vsas so investigate specific programs to get their reqs. PM me if more questions!
