I'm a little stumped. I need you guys to choose the one person I should ask for my last LOR:
Professor A) Chairman of the Chem Department. Took him for Gen Chem, got an A, barely talked to him. He did write me small LOR for a Chem TA job 1 month ago (wrote it in 20 minutes, lol), and he did congratulate me personally for getting a 100 on an exam two years ago. Right now tho, I'd be surprised if he remembers my name.
B) This guy used to be my advisor and professor for Gen Chem (got an A). I've asked him a long time ago to write me an LOR, and he agreed to do it. He said that usually he writes LORs for people who've taken multiple courses of his. I only took one, but he said that since he knows me pretty well outside of class (talking about my career, major, etc), he would write one for me. I haven't met with him for a year now, though I'm positive he remembers me. I'm worried he might not be a good "science" LOR, if you know what I mean.
C) I've had the most recent relationship with this guy. Took his Orgo class, got an A-. Never went to his office hours. I did email him a month ago to sign up be a TA for his class next semester, and he accepted. The problem is that my committee LOR application is due February, so I don't think he will know me enough to write a good science LOR.
Or, should I ask more than one?
Thanks for the help.
