I've tried dragging and dropping & copying and pasting. Then I had to do what Yah-E already told us to do (and others). Yes, you do have to have a web address--as far as I know anyway. I hope I'm not fibbing.

1. Find the image you want on the web
2. right click on the image u want
3. click on Properties
4. copy the Address
5. paste the address as your Avatar
6. Click save profile
