Does AADSAS require a picture up front with the application or do you send it directly to the dental schools once you hear from them?

AADSAS does not require a picture; other schools, however, may require one for their files and they will contact you and let you know if this is the case.

Some schools just want to make sure that your not so ugly you'll scare your patients away

if you go on the website of the schools you're applying to it should give a list of the supplementary materials they will be asking for. check this out in advance to give you time to get your pics taken if neccesary. if they do say they will be asking for a picture, sign it and send it directly to the school along with the app. fee and whatever other supplementals they want.
