Pictures on step 1

how many of those cross-sections, MRIs, CTs, Path slides, yada yada can i expect to see on my exam? there may be 2 per Qbank 50, but our school has scared us that it will be all pictures.
and if there are pics, do you REALLY need them to answer the questions?

I can't remember there being any path slides... there might have been, but there couldn't have been very many or I'd remember. I had several (I dunno, maybe 15) cross-sections on my exam, probably half of them being neuro (brain MRIs, gross sections, etc.). Yes, you definitely needed them to answer the question.
There were plenty of other sort of "pictures" too... diagrams and whatnot.

I had gotten quite a few...
I had looked at Goljan's Pathology Review (Stars) and also Robbins review...
Those helped...
The wierdest one I got (couple of years ago) was the molecular structure of PIP3 and it asked where some enzyme worked to form IP3 from it...
Freaked me out...
