Yeah, I didn't apply to any coastal programs. My advisor before mentioned a lot of programs don't thoroughly look at applications until August.

Of course, I am type A so part of me says to go on all of them but I also don't want to take up an interview that someone more seriously is looking at the program.

I applied to over 25 programs thinking I would decide where to interview based on where I got offers and then narrow it down from there. I've been told to go on 8-12, and I really won't have the time or money to do more that that. So far I have 7 interviews, have scheduled them all, but am still waiting to hear back from the remainer of the programs..

Most of the programs I am applying to appear to still have "night call" about q4. In terms of true night float I think Vanderbilt and I know Madison's program (but I applied mostly Midwest).

I am currently applying for Picu right now. I only have two interviews so far. Should I be worried?

I am not really sure what is to be expected at this point, and maybe others with experience can comment more about this. I have some programs I haven't heard anything from and some on the running list that I applied to and haven't heard from (but they have obviously sent out at least some interviews). I would guess we will still hear from programs over the next 1-2 weeks, but not sure about much beyond that. Wish I could be more helpful. Anyone else out there with thoughts or advice. Thanks!

Well you have two interviews! I am not sure if you have to be "nervous" depending on where you applied as many programs still haven't sent out invites. Even if some people have already received an interview invitation from a program, if you haven't received a rejection then you may very well still get an interview.
