so I'm confused.
The Pitt MSTP page says: DO NOT SUBMIT THIS APPLICATION UNLESS INVITED TO DO SO BY THE MSTP OFFICE regarding the MSTP application.
I received an e-mail invitation to fill out the Pitt secondary application (but it did not come from the MSTP.
1. Can I submit the MSTP online application? (I think I should still wait?)
2. Did I need to submit the regular "MD" application and pay the fee?

Dear MSTP Applicant:
We were informed, through AMCAS, of your interest in applying to the University of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Mellon University Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). Please complete our MSTP online application available at
http://www.mdphd.pitt.edu. To access the application page, please go to the 'Admissions' section of the website and then click on the 'Online Application' link.
In order to submit the application, all fields must be completed with the exception of Middle Name. Included in these fields are the names and e-mail addresses of your 2 recommenders. After you submit your application, these individuals will receive an e-mail directing them to complete and submit the online recommendation letter and cover sheet. We require letters from only two recommenders.
You have the option to SAVE your online application and can access it again by logging in using your username and password. Once you SAVE your application, you will receive an e-mail with your username and password.
In order to be considered for the MSTP, you must also complete the MD secondary application available at
https://admissions.medschool.pitt.edu as soon as possible. If you have any questions regarding the MD application please contact Michelle OLeary at 412.648.9891. Please NOTE that your MSTP application will not be considered if the MD application is not completed at the latest by November 1. EARLY SUBMISSION IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED BECAUSE INTERVIEW SLOTS ARE LIMITED AND START TO FILL UP VERY QUICKLY.

If you didn't get it, go ahead and fill out the normal secondary since you need to anyways and if you still haven't heard from the MSTP people, send them an email. Justin responds really quickly as I had a slight problem with the Pitt MSTP application.
