Could someone please tell me what Pitt Med's daily class schedule during the first year? When do classes typically start in the morning? And how late do they go into the evening?

I am trying to decide how far to live away from school. The communities of Sewickley and Cranberry seem interesting (both having good schools for my kids).

Yeah.... I dont know what the hell I did but I seem to have posted in the wrong thread. Guess I have been spending too much time thinking about these applications on not enough sleep!

So possibly you've already looked at our calendar for this past year. I admit it's quite confusing if you aren't a first year.

Basically we have 2 afternoons a week off, and the length of the full days really vary: anatomy always starts at 8am, once a week ends at 5pm, otherwise ends around 3-4. Some other classes start at 8:30 or 9am, ends around the same time (but no more 5pm's!). And if you're not a lecture-goer, well it doesn't matter does it? 😉

I know some families in our class live in Highland Park and Monroeville, they seem to be ok about commuting (well, highland park is so close).
