Hi all,

Anyone have any info regarding Pitt MSTP's waitlist? I've heard rumors from current students that they typically go to it (and through it). Is there any truth to this?

I don't know a thing about Pitt, but there seem to be some people who have posted acceptances to Pitt who have also posted acceptances to more sought after schools. My guess is that the list will move, but I have no idea how much or when. I doubt any lists will be very active until after May 15; maybe if we're lucky they'll start rolling after second look weekends in April. Welcome to purgatory...we need a consolidated waitlist thread.

A current MSTP student at pitt told me that they had some difficulty filling last year's MSTP class with the desired number of students and they ended up having to recruit heavily from their MD class.

As always, if you're on the waitlist and you really want to go there, make sure they know it.

Thanks...I'll go kill the crickets now! I can only hope that after all the things I've done in my life that I make it to purgatory...but for now it's a terrible place to be.
