"A review of [my] app indicates correspondence was mailed to [me] on Dec. 18". What does this mean? Interview or rejection? Anyone had this come up on their status-check page?

Hi SMW,
I received the same message, mine was apparently mailed out December 19th....it might be a 50/50 shot, since Pitt sends out interview invites via snail mail, or it could be a "thanks, but no thanks" letter...who knows....good luck to you!
I just received my first interview invite, GWU, I'm an August MCAT'er who found out that AMCAS had NOT forwarded my scores to anyone....I had to call there a few dozen times to get them to send them out..what a weird year..

I got that message in October. It took Pitt a week to get a letter to me in the same city! It was a rejection, but I heard it is a 50/50 chance.

don't want to discourage you, but mine was a rejection.

best wishes

Just wanted to say keep up the hope, and don't get discouraged if you see a very thin envelope. My invite to interview was a one page letter from Dr. Curtiss and I was certain before I opened it that it was a rejection.

Good luck, and hope it arrives soon...

Can someone please post the status page address? Thanks.
