"Did your grades represent your best achievements or could you have done better?" 500 characters or less.

Background on myself I graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience from Pitt undergrad, 3.95 GPA, 87% Pcat.

My freshman year I got an A- in stats my first semester, then I got a B in Bio 2, and a B+ in a writing class second semester. After that I got all A's and a lot of A+s even.

How the do I address this question as it is obvious after I adjusted to the freedom of college life I did the best I could academically? Or should I just talk about that very aspect?

How the hell do I address this question as it is obvious after I adjusted to the freedom (and women) of college life I did the best I could academically? Or should I just talk about that very aspect?

Don't think you need to address this question if your grades are already good. This area is for people who have dropped classes, failed them, or got C's, and if there is some event in his or her life that caused this (overwhelmed, death in the family, life-threatening disease, etc.)

Isn't this an optional question?

I answered this one because I dropped a class and got 2 C's in my first year. That's something to definitely address.

Yeah, I used that space to explain the downward trend I had in my GPA. I don't think you really need to explain anything in that space. That being said, I'm not an adcom so I wouldn't know.

Or you could say "yes those grades do represent my best work"
