pittsburgh cell phone service

i'm trying to decide on which company to go with for cell phone service in pittsburgh. i've heard that verizon gets the best service in Scaife (but it's also the most expensive!). Can anyone comment on other providers? Also, any idea which company gets the best reception in Ruskin? thanks!

I'd be interested in the answer to this as well. I'm currently IN with Verizon, and I was just going to transfer service over to Pittsburgh. Good to hear that service is okay in Scaife. I'd assume that the service should be pretty good at Ruskin if it's okay in Scaife (are we talking as deep as the M level of the bldg?).

H&T, i have AT&T. It works fine out here in California, but i'm definitely going to switch plans and my phone number when i move. I don't know how far down into the bottom floors of Scaife Verizon's reception goes, but i've heard pretty unanimously that it's the best that you're going to get. I too would guess that good reception in scaife would mean good reception in ruskin, but you never know...!

I've had T-mobile and Verizon, and both work just fine. Never noticed any annoying signal problems. I think all the main companies are pretty good in Pittsburgh - but maybe if you are going to be travelling through the state to go home or something you could worry about no-man's-land coverage.

My brother goes to CMU and he tells me that Verizon is by far the best.
