Is anyone interviewing at Pittsburgh February 20th? If so, what hotel are you staying at? Thanks, just curious
 
well, in that case you should stay at the "holiday inn - university center"

tell them you are there for an interview and you get a discount; very nice place and within walking distance
 
I stayed at the Shadyside Inn. It was wonderful - a cute little free breakfast and everything. They also drive you right to the interview in the morning, AND there is a great discount if you say you are looking at the ds. Have a great time!
 
hi premedman, I have an interview on feb 20th. It's my first interview, so I have no idea what to expect. I don't know where I'm staying yet.
 
has anyone received a confirmation letter of his/her scheduled interview date from the school?

Damn, I sent her an email to reserve my date two weeks ago, but I still haven't received a confirmation email from her yet. I am going to send her another email to double check on it. Thanks

you all should not worry about the interview. Most of the time is just information, lunch, etc. Then the interview with a faculty, etc. From my experience it does not carry any weight. They just want to weed out any rejects. Honestly. They are going only off stats! If you are in the 20 dat 3.4 or higher gpa then you are in a good spot. Not saying accepted but you should relax. It seems like it was just a step... they wanted to see if you would show up and werent a crazy person... they give your record a check mark and then rank according to numbers.
 
good luck... but seriously just chill while you are there. If you just smile it will go well.

Well I just finished all my interview. I'm sitting here at the airport waiting for my flight to leave. I'd have to agree with what natroncb said. The entire day was SOOOOO relaxing. The interviewer I had was very nice and only asked me one question related to dentistry. The rest of the interview was pretty much a casual conversation about random subjects. All of the students there were very friendly and did a very nice job of making us feel welcomed at the school.

They said that they will wait until AFTER the next two interview sessions before they make decisions, so those of you with interviews later this month or the next, don't worry. Well... my flight is boarding now, I'll be back. 🙂

GOOD! I am glad everything worked out tinman. When I interviewed there were a number of students I spoke to who were accepted just the week before school started (off the waitlist). So even if you do not hear for a while dont give up. I'll be there in the fall.
 
hi, I got interview call in pittsburgh on jan 13.please tell about the interview questionas and what is the procedure of the bench test
