I just want to confirm this before Wednesday (2/19). So I’ve read over the PTE and CTE AAMC features and want to make sure I’m understanding correctly. So for the Plan to Enroll- if you do this on Wednesday, every other school you hold an acceptance to will be notified that you specifically chose another school and not them? Or will this just be basic data like x number of students chose you, y number of students didn’t make a selection, and z number of students chose a different school? Or will it be the names/AAMC ID for each student/decision?

But no matter what, this decision is NOT binding? So for example, one school I’ve gotten into said they require accepted students to choose them on Wednesday for PTE. However, let’s say another school offers me a financial package of some sort in April. Could I switch that school decision at any point until April 30th for CTE?

Unless something changed in the few years since I applied:

I dont think schools see who specifically did or did not PTE yet, until April 30.

Also April 30 isnt the CTE deadline - that's the deadline to PTE at one school only. This means you can stay on waitlists but you lose your other acceptances. Your CTE deadline is set by the school you PTE at at that point. For instance, my PTE was due by April 30, but my CTE wasn't until later.

This is not correct.

You can only mark PTE to one school at a time . If you change your mind or get new offers later, you can change the school you PTE in.
Change it to CTE after April 30 or at your school's deadline.

The DO schools operate a little differently.
Most DO schools when offering you admission, will tell you a deadline by which you must pay a deposit to hold your spot.
These deposits are usually substantial, and often non- refundable if you change your mind later.

I recommend you look up “AACOMAS Traffic guidelines” and read them for a thorough understanding
 
I bet they held several acceptances while trying to decide, without marking any of them as PTE on the AAMC tool.
So the PTE feature will share your name with the schools you do not select as well? Or just that x number of people did not select them on that day? Sorry for all the questions.

Too many what-ifs!
If you have 2 or more schools, read all their instructions about deadlines, and mark one of them as PTE by the deadline
