In the pharmaCAS I have entered the courses I plan to take next spring. But in case, these courses are not offered in the spring, is it okay to take different pre requiste courses? Would this create a problem for my matriculation in case I am accepted. Has any of you had such an experience or heard of such a thing? I would really appreciate your responses. Thanks for the help!

There is spring academic update for pharmcas where you can update the classes you're taking in Spring. PharmCAS will notify those schools. However, you should still email schools to make sure it's ok to take a different pre-req.

If it's just a different pre-req like a different english class or different liberal education class, it shouldn't be a problem. If it is substituting something for like biochemistry in which a school requires that, I wouldn't see another pre-req being ok if it specific about it. But as everyone said, doesn't hurt to contact a few of your top schools and ask them.
