I think most people will have no option but to work there arses off to pay off loans.

GPR and then specialty if I am good enough to go that route and or interested.

I don't think you'll need to do a GPR (general practice residency) if you decide to take on specialty training. But yeah, basically the same for me too... GPR if I want to do general or we'll see how keen I am on specializing when I get down that road.

marry rich (perhaps a real doctor!:laugh:) and never practice!!!

especially after 27 years of school, 150k in debt and the 132837492387 gallons of red bull

GPR then take over parents 2 practices. Have kids.

I have a question..... I know that USAF is the Air Force and.... I know USA is the U. S. Army...... What is the USAFA?????

My friend went to the USAFA which is the US Air Force Academy, in CO springs, CO.... I am not sure how he is spending 3 years there? I believe you only stay there for a little bit...... but then again what do i know....

As for me..... I will probably do a GPR in the NAVY, and then serve 4 years in the NAVY..... hopefully doing something really cool..... and oh yeah...... I won't be worrying about my loans....... 😀

Get rich.
Marry trophy wife.😀😀😀

Is that a good enough plan for you?

That's crazy! It seems like you might lose some of your skills if you don't utilize them during that time. Does that concern you at all?

Very. But what can I do?

I gotta serve my country...

It's actually a pretty common problem with most international students from asian countries. Luckily, it's only gonna take a year in Taiwan. I heard you gotta go at it for 3 years in Korea...

do they have a policy where if you are an only son, you are exempt? I got that exemption from my country 👍

I don't think they care.

You can only get an exemption if you are either mentally ******ed or disabled.

Oh, or if you are sons of important politicians...

Sucks to be me!

Hey guys...new to forum

I'm deciding between med school and dental school, and was wondering the time frame of med school vs. dental school.

I know there are 4 years of school, but med school has 3 more years of required residency. Is this true for dental school, or can you start practice right away after graduating?

Thanks a lot.

You can practice right away after you graduate for most states. I think NY requires a year of GPR, however.

Regular. They don't recognize anything beyond PhD from other countries. I'll just be a nobody when I go back... 👎

Wow! Talk about having a stupid setup in the military. They should at least put you in as a dentist. This falls under people with special skills.

i plan to do priceline commercialz with William Shatner
