I just did a search for this topic on this forum and I got some conflicting info, so despite the plethora of threads that have started about this issue, I'm starting another...
I have looked at the ADA's list of topics for bio, but PLANT bio is something that I need you SDNers (particularly those who have taken the exam or know alot about it) to comment on. I had next to zero plant bio in college since I was a biochem/microbio major, so I really need directed advice about what plant info to study for the DAT since I don't want to spend more $$ on another Bio review book like Schaum's (I plan to Wikipedia this info...)
I know photosynthesis is important, and Destroyer implies that we need to know some general info about plant hormones, reproduction, and anatomy (xylem/phloem, male vs female portions of angiosperms, etc.).
Do we need to know plant classification (i.e. beyond dicots vs monocots, angiosperms vs gymnosperms)? Is there any other plant info that I need to focus on?
