Please advise: Taking DAT now for this cycle

I'm planning on taking the DAT in January for this cycle. I realize it's late.. but I already submitted my app months ago. Do I have a chance for this cycle if I take exam end of January? Everything else is in.

Please advise.

Only if you score 22 + on most sections and have a GPA of around 3.5 + both science and overall. The later it gets in the cycle, the more competitive it gets to gain interviews/admission.

If you feel you are ready to take the DAT, then take it and get done with it.
Remember it will take 2 to 3 weeks to get your official score to AADSAS.

I applied in July but took the DAT two weeks ago. So far I got two interviews for January. Those two schools were willing to accept a copy of the unofficial score report. Other schools I applied to only accept official score report.

So also check with the schools you applied to. Some have late interviews.
