So, here is the thing. One of my friends has failed out of dental school. He was at NYU and didn't pull the grades the first year, and since this school is a weed-out school, he is out. Now what? Well, that's what i want to know. What do you guys suggest he should go about doing. He is completely confused. He doesnt' know if he should study again for the DATs and since i am not in this realm, I know nothing about this stuff. I don't know how applying to dental school is, so:
1) what do you recommend he should do?
2) are there masters, or post-bac programs like for med school?
3) should he take the DATs again?
4) has anyone that you guys know ever run into this problem?
5) what are the steps to getting into dental school in the first place, so maybe i can help him out more.
PLEASE answer any of these questions. That would be so much help to him.
thanks!!
