Hey All, Please help me out here I am new and need some help

1) I heard that Schaums Biology book provides a good review for that section of the DAT, is this the actual book that I am supposed to buy: http://books.mcgraw-hill.com/getcategory.php?template=schaums&catid=2709&category=Biology&level=3

I am just doubtfull that this is not the right thing

2) What exactly does Topscore Pro offer? from the discription on their site I figured that for $46 you get 3 full length online tests with their solns. Is that it?? I was thinking that topscore would be more like Kaplan's online DAT course where you have 2 review books and flash cards to go along with your online material...is that similar to what topscore offers or what??

3) Also, I heard alot about Barron's preparation materials for DAT..what's the website for that...I did a google search and some kind of Magazine publishing website came up, nothing about the DAT 😕 please help

The Topscore CD has 3 full length practice tests that simulate the actual DAT exam -- that's it -- no study material, flashcards, etc. With that said, I must add that this CD is invaluable and an absolute must have for a pre-dent studying for the DAT. It's $46 well spent.

Well, concerning Topscore, I think we need to let him know that, THERE ARE NO DETAILED SOLUTIONS INCLUDED !!!

You have tests and a list that gives the answers such as A B C D E whatever, but no explanations. So if you miss a question, you wont know why unless you research it !!!

for bio just read Kaplan's book if it is too boring then read Princeton's Review book, it may be a little easier to read, but kaplan is more detailed in some areas.
Topscore is not bad but dont depend too much on it. Honestly, i think it is crap but it is good practice.
Barron's cannot beat what Kaplan and Princeton have to offer.

However, the key to do well in DAT is to go over the Kaplan's online stuff question and be relaxed during the test and dont prospond the test(bad habit)

I guarantee that everyone agree with me when i say that you can never be 100% for bio because it is just too much, sometimes you will be tested on stuff that it is not on the book and stuff

I disagree with the above. my verison of topscore pro has detail solutions. just click on the "solution" button. but, come to think about it, i did not use an old version. i purchased the new version from www.topscorepro.com
