Can you please help me with this?
Suppose you sent your LOR's to the ECFMG and opted to waive your right to see them. If you don't match that year...what happens to the letters? In other words, are we expected to have to go back and get new letters? That seems a little ridiculous to me. If you graduate in May and didn't match..you have no electives left to do...your cores ended a year ago..how in the world are you expected to get new letters. Don't they hold on to your letters for the next match? It seems terrible that you spend all that time doing your rotations and getting good letters only to have them thrown away, if that's what in fact happens. Can someone shed some light on this?
