I will be applying for sure to the schools in italics. However, I'm trying to narrow down my options for the schools listed right after.

What criteria are important for you in selecting schools to which you will apply? Why will you be applying the schools above that you already selected?

UNECOM and Rowan have regional bias. I think they both take high 80 percent IS.

OU-HCOM and OSU-CHS are public schools and it's difficult to get in as an OOS. With OU-HCOM you have to sign a 5-year contract. Look up their main focus and see if your match that.

MSUCOM has $80k/year OOS tuition. Even with a nice scholarship you will be paying a lot.

Read up on LUCOM. It's fairly new and is a bit controversial. With your stats I wouldn't bother with KYCOM.

RVUCOM is a for-profit university. Some people have an issue with that. If you don't then go ahead and apply.

You could add:
LMU-DCOM
ACOM
CUSOM
VCOM

KCUMB - You already have 4 of the oldest 5 schools. Why not KCUMB?

Rowan does have a regional bias however they seem to have a thing for Cali people. I know a bunch of the OOS people are mostly from California and one's from Texas so you can play the odds. I'm not too sure if the admin were just really Cali happy my year but i'm just saying its not far fetched to accept people from out of state. I would say that with those stats and if your clinical hours really are unique, I would give add Rowan to your list.

Just by numbers, every school has a thing for CA people... it's mostly just because there are many more people applying from CA than any other state, leading to more people from CA as OOS in a lot of schools. I'm not sure if that would work for or against OP.

Also, can confirm UNECOM a bias, but it should be noted that it is a regional bias for people from New England, not just Maine, although I guess it still doesn't matter to OP, haha.

Thank you everyone! All the information really helped. I'm adjusting my list.

I'm not applying to KCUMB b/c of my verbal score 🙁 They don't accept anything below a 7. I got a 6.
