I applied and got into a pharmacy school. School starts this August.

At this point in my life, I feel that I would prefer to be a medical doctor, but I'm not sure if I will get into a school. I want to drop out of pharmacy school to pursue medical, but I'm scared I wont get in.

Will medicals schools accept someone who is currently enrolled in pharmacy school? I'm worried that they will think I'm not committed and use that against me. Pharmacy is my backup and I would like to have something to fall back on.

What do you think? Please, anyone who is a DOCTOR or a MEDICALS SCHOOL STUDENT, please help. If you were on the admissions committee, please let me know.

If you start the PharmD program, med school adcomms will expect you to finish it. If you don't complete your commitments, why should they take the chance that you might lose interest and drop out of their school too?

As long as you decide to jump ship before you matriculate in August, you'd be fine.
