Hi ya'll My first post on this forum. I used to be a pharm. tech. while
I was in nursing school. 🙂 Which is as close to being a pharmacy
student or pharmacist that I'll ever get. But seriously, ya'll know your
meds, man, and that's why I came to you with my ? - I'm an RN
transferring from Peds ICU to CICU and I need to review my
vasoactive drips big time, especially the ones used on adults and
not kids.

So is there any good website out there that can give me accurate
info on meds, specifically indications, mechanism of action, common
dosages and s/e's?

BTW please consider working in NC, b/c
let me tell you about 20% of the jobs open at my hospital are for
pharmacists and what good is an ICU nurse without her drips?

THANKS for your help.

I highly recommend Clinical Pharmacology. The only problem is that you usually have to be a member or your school has to have a subscription. I think the website is www.clinicalpharmacology.com I use this for most of my research for school.
