please help i have questions regarding PTCB and essay

I applied last year and got waitlisted,,,currently I am working on my application for 2010 cycle..do you guys think I should change my essay from last year,,if i do ..what do I need to add or delete...how do I reinforce my essay more..I am planning to take the PTCB exam, should i take it before i submit my pharmcas or it doesnt realy matter? thanks guys..

Were you told at all why you were wait-listed and not admitted? It seems like the usual advice is not to change your PS unless you have a really good reason to. Of course, if you feel like it's WEAK, then by all means go for it. But without reading it I have no idea.

As far as the PTCE, take it before your submit PharmCAS unless it'll significantly delay your submissions (especially if you're applying to rolling admissions programs like USC). Time is of the essence in that case and the PTCE won't really make that big of a difference.
 
Depends - If you are a reapplicant, we retain your old application. The admissions office attaches your old application to your new one before the admissions committee gets to see it. We do this so we can compare your app to see what improvements you have made.

Our school makes recommendations to each applicant we do not accept. We then check to see if these improvements were made. Using the same essays is definitely frowned upon. Our school is going to PharmCAS for the first time this year - so I would imagine that the same would be true for PS. Just my take.

yes i am a reapplicant, i got waitlisted in one of the schools i applied to, should i change it , how do i know if it is good enough for this year, what improvements you think i should make for this year application if i am applying to the same schools ?
