Can anyone with the 2008 or 2009 AADSAS guide please help me out...i have ordered mine but am still waiting for it and need help asap with a few questions...if so please pm me or leave a message here...thanks a lot and help greatly appreciated!

thanks for the reply...i am making a decision on which schools to apply and was wondering if you could let me know whether or not the following schools have a minimum DAT requirement and if the requirement is for all sections?

Nova, Case, Boston, NYU

Thanks

I think most schools state on their websites that they require a 17+ on your DAT. But considering the competition, there's no way on earth you could get in anywhere with a 17. I'd say at least an AA of 18, and one should consider herself/himself very lucky, if he/she gets in with that score.

yes...any more info on sections other than AA? my AA is fine...

Obviously, a 20+ PA will dramatically help your chances. Some school have cutoff points of 17-18 for RC.
QR is the least important one. So, you'll be fine as long as you're 17+, provided that you do decent on all the other sections.
Overall, I'd say you'll be in a good shape as long as you score 19+ on ever section.

From the ADEA handbook, I looked up the ones you wanted. They did not indicate the specifics for each section on the DAT, so I will give you the range of scores and their averages:

Nova: AA (17-23) average: 19.33
PAT (16-24) average: 18.77
TS (17-22) average: 19.68

Case: AA (15-24) average: 19
PAT (15-25) average: 20
TS (15-26) average: 19

Boston: AA (17-24) average: 19
PAT (15-25) average: 19
TS (16-24) average: 19

NYU: (didn't show range)
AA: average 20
PAT: average 19
TS: average 20

Hope this helps!
