Please help me decide, UCD or UCSC

Although, the decision of May 1st has not arrived, I am stuck between UCSC and UCD.
My parents and family smile highly upon UCD, but the ultimate decision is mine.

I have seen both campuses. I really like the weather for UCSC.
Academic wise, I am interested in science and international relations, and med school in the future.
Social wise, I am looking forward to joining a pre-health sorority or just sororities overall. In addition, school pride and enthusiasm is also in consideration.

Not sure if this is a factor, but volunteer and community outreach is a must for me since I really enjoy helping others. Plus, I am planning to join the Peace Corp after graduation if I still feel the same and my grades are decent by then.

Please offer me some insight and kind consideration. (^.^)

I actually like both, but I am quite uncertain and a bit indecisive. You might say it's undergraduate and it does not matter, but to me, it's a polar opposite. It's these 4 years that I am going to grow and prosper into adulthood.

Well, if you like both and can't find a major reason to attend one over the other, than it would make sense to go to the cheaper one.

Take this with a grain of salt as the days when I knew a lot about different med schools is long past. I imagine there is not too much difference, if any between the two in cost. The UC always used to keep the different campi similar.

Davis is a great place to live with access to a lot of stuff, Tahoe to the east, Shasta, Lassen, the Trinities to the north, the river and the Bay Area. Davis has a fairly granola feel (although not to the same degree as SC) and is expensive.

One big difference is that UCD has a medical school and a medical center (which is in downtown Sacramento).
