I am in the process of filling out the AADSAS application and I found that I couldn't type
directly on the Acrobat PDF file. Does anyone know if it is possible to type directly on the file or do I need to print out the file and then type on the page?

I honestly don't know if you can type write onto the PDF file. I know you can print it out and fill out the documents using a good ol' pen OR you could do what most people are doing and fill it out online and submit it over the Net to AADSAS...that's probably your easiest bet.

    Good luck,

as i know, you can not type on the PDF file directly. there are two things that you can do:

    1. file your applic on the internet, in this case, easy and fast

    2. print the PDF file, use typewriter or computer. they both work, just a little more work.

    good luck with your applic

    Hey Cavity,

Being the computer geek that I am, I think I may be able to help you.

You can type on the PDF file. There is a catch to this however. You must have the full version of Adobe Acrobat to "edit" and type on the file. Most people just have the free Acrobat viewer which only allows them to print the file.

I was too cheap to go purchase the full version of Acrobat, so I printed it and used a typewriter to complete my application. I dont think AADSAS cares about how you complete your application; as long as you send it in neatly, it should suffice.

cavity.....the web application is sooo much easier than adobe, why don't you do it that way? even if you don't have internet access at home i'm sure you could do it at a public library or something....

    just my 2 cents :)

I'm wondering about the same thing for NYU supplemental. Is it okay to just type my response with Word and convert that to PDF for submission?

Good times. My chief concern used to be what I would do at school recess.
