Please help me with my list

Hello everyone,

I am applying for the first time this cycle, and I just really need help with my list of schools.

My oGPA and sGPA are around the same ~ 3.3 (I know it's kind of low :|)

I just took my DAT for the first time and got these scores:

PAT: 20
QR: 20
RC: 21
Bio: 20
GC: 19
OC: 25
TS: 21
AA: 21

I think these are good scores, but I'm not sure if it will be enough to "bump up" my GPA....

I've got a pretty good number of shadowing, assisting, volunteering hours ~140+
I have held a bit of leadership positions in honors societies and pre-dental society.
I also have some good extra-curricular stuff that are helping with my dexterity.
I just need to write a strong personal statement and send it off, but I'm pretty dang nervous.

I've come up with a temporary list of schools. What do you guys think? I want to apply to a lot because I recently graduated, and I don't want to have a year to waste 🙁

LECOM, GRU (In-state), Midwestern, Louisville, Boston, Tufts, UNLV, NYU, Case Western, Temple, Roseman, Marquette.

I think I'm going to apply to at least 15 just to feel a little more secure. Any thoughts? Ideas? Anything will help. Thank you everyone!

Are you African American? If not, take Roseman off. The rest looks good! You will have high chance at lecom and Western, NYU...

Really? According to statistics, they seem to be more of a oos friendly school. I'll think about that one though 🙂 If you don't mind asking, are you at a dental school right now?

I don't know where you got that. 2013 ADEA shows zero AA enrollment. Also Roseman is OOS friendly.
To OP: Apply ~13-15 schools.

Haha, I was confused too. Do you think I should apply to schools that have an average GPA of around 3.5? Or would that be my "high-reach" school?
