I have been lurking on here for quite some time, but now that I am about to apply to dental school I have decided to make an account and ask the big question: What are my chances??

I have a 4.0 overall gpa and a 4.0 sci gpa. I recently graduated with a double major in physics and chemical engineering. I have about 1000 hours of work experience in a general dentist's office as well as over 200 hours of shadowing at a different general dentist's office. I have also been involved with multiple community service projects accounting for around 300 hours of community service. My last year in school I worked with a professor on a research project and was able to write a senior thesis from this research. I presented the research at a conference and won 1st in student research at the conference. As far as leadership experience I was the President of the engineering honor society at my school. I took the DAT about a month ago and scored a 27 AA, 26 TS, and 24 PAT.

I am a little worried about my chances. What can I do to improve my chances? retake the DAT?

Any advice would be very much appreciated!!!

Well, since based on your thread you seem to be a genious... but at the same time an arrogant jerk id say your chances of getting interviews is good but convincing your interviewer that you can relate to others without being, well, yourself, maybe be your undoing. In my opinion.
