Hello all,

I am new to this forums. I have read "
**Official Interview/Acceptance/Rejection Thread 2013-2014**
However, I am still not clear.
1. Once AADSAS mails out the applications to dental school, applicants will receive notifications from the school regarding on either scheduled for an Interview or Ejection. Am I right?

2. If one received "interview notification date" from dental school around early of July, when approximately the interview dates will be on? I was told that the first interview round is on no early than Dec 1st. Does that mean all the actual interview dates will start on Dec 1 and on?

Both of these questions are COMPLETELY school-dependent.

Some schools e-mail you immediately after they receive your application to let you know they have your completed application. Some wait a little while.

If you get an interview, the school can invite you whenever. If you're rejected, they can let you know whenever. If you're accepted, the first time they can let you know is December 2 (or whatever the date is for this year).

Each school has their own interview schedule. Some let you choose a date; others don't.
However, I think you misunderstood someone about the interview timeline. The first ACCEPTANCES go out in early December (schools are bound by law to not release acceptances before that date). You can interview at any point before that, and you can also interview after that date. The earliest interviews are typically in late July or August, but schools can schedule them whenever they'd like.
