Hello, im a current M1 interested in starting Zanki. I am probably the most computer inept person that has ever lived. I have spent an ungodly amount of time trying to figure out how to use zanki, specifically finding ALL the relevant cards to go along with my curriculum. But i cant. Ive watched videos read post etc and I can not figure this out. I am at the point where now where I have 2 options either just blindly do the cards in the deck without regard to them being in order i need with my classes 0r just do the lightyear deck which is 100% more intuitive but from what I read less comprehensive. Can someone please help me before i go crazy. thank you

Take a deep breath. Watch all of the videos by the Anking specifically on how to use Zanki with lectures. Not sure if you've checked those out already but they're super informative and will walk you through everything you need to know.

if you're still having issues check out r/medicalschoolanki on Reddit for more information on the specifics of the LY vs Zanki deck. From my understanding, they're both nearly equal in terms of comprehensiveness so if you find yourself having less issues with LY and prefer the structure then just go with that and don't over think it, especially if it makes it easier to follow along with your classes.

Another consideration is the card style is a bit different between both decks although this ultimately boils down to personal preference. LY has less cards but they require you to recall more information per card.

Definitely watch the Anking videos to help you navigate the deck. One thing that is super helpful for finding relevant cards is either by tags or by going into the browser section and sorting the cards by date created. The person who made Zanki basically went through first aid and costanzo and made cards off of that in a chronological order for the most part. This should help you navigate based on your curriculum as most cards you will need will be at the top (meaning oldest created).

"Please Help" is my exclamation every time my UI refreshes my reviews for the day...
