I'm currently applying and I need advice on whether or not I can make it with my stats:

PS 11
VR 9
BS 12

VR was kinda disappointing...🙁 i honestly didnt even care about the N, even though it's not good, should i be worried about it? i write well but i hate writing under pressure 🙄

BCPM 3.90, AO 3.95

I'm applying to some upper tier private schools (Georgetown, U. Pitt), but mostly public schools up and down the mid-atlantic (PA, MD, VA, WV, NY, NJ) - I'm a maryland resident btw. my extracurrics are decent - leadership, tutoring, community service, awards, lots of research and clinical

Please help me figure out if I have a chance! I promise this is not a troll, med school admissions are such crapshoots as they are... Thank you-

Some schools look at the writing score and some don't, so applying broadly is important for you. There is no list as to which schools consider this score. Prove to schools that you write well by having an impeccable Personal Statement and Secondary essays. Also, be articulate during your interviews.

man, i know i'm gonna have a hard time with this 🙁 when i get nervous i get so flustered and tongue-tied. and as much as i'm sure i'll practice, there's no nervousness like when you're doing it for real!

Many undergrad schools have a career development office that will offer practice interviews. Also ask friends and family to do the same. Even better, ask other premeds who've read these forums and perused the interview summaries so they know the range of likely questions. I'm like you, but because I did all of the above, I didn't mortify myself during the real thing.
