Please help with Pittsburgh!! Very Important

My boyfriend is stuck at in Washington at Dulles on his way to an interview there tomorrow and he's trying to figure out what to do. Unfortunately the Admissions office is closed. First, does anyone know which airlines fly from Dulles to Pitt, other than United and INdependence AIr? Secondly, does Pitt interview on other days and should he stick around for the Thursday interview (if one exists, and because the early AM flight gets into Pitt too late)?

Grr. This same scenario happened to me last week when I got stuck in an airport while traveling for work and missed my flight home, where I had an interview. It's so aggravating. Atleast mine was in my hometown but my boyfriend flew out from home so if he doesn't get to this interview, the chances of him flying out again (due to taking time off from work) are slim. Any help is appreciated.

They interview Monday, Tuesday and Friday. He should just rent a car and drive it.

i agree....renting a car is pretty expensive if you're under 25 like me, but that is what i would do...at least he'd make his interview that way.

virtually none of the cheapo airlines (like JetBlue) go straight to pittsburgh. try orbitz to get some idea of what does go there (I know USAir is a big one) or worst case consider flying to Cleveland (via a cheapo, it's a hub for a couple of them) and driving about 2 hours.

oh yeah, you're at dulles now. eh, i'd probably just drive also, weather permitting.

Or, take a taxi to downtown DC and then take a train. I know there is one going staright to Pitts... or, at least, they used to be one.
