Hello everyone, I am starting this thread for a friend. She has a 3.7 cGPA, 3.55 sGPA, and a 497 MCAT score (Physical 126, CARS 123, Bio 125, and Psych 123).
She took the old MCAT twice within the last two years and got a 24 (Physical 10, Verbal 5, and Bio 9) and a 19 (8,3,8).

    Ec are:
one year of bench research; no publications.
200+ hours of clinical volunteering at a hospital
    100+ hours of non-clinical volunteering at a soup-kitchen
    100+ hours of DO shadowing

Are there any MD schools that would accept an applicant with these credentials? Or should she only focus on DO schools?

    Misc info:
White female, immigrant, and NY resident.

    Thank you for your help.

Those MCAT scores are so that her chances with MD schools are lethal, and with DO schools, perhaps best at the newest schools. She should skip the coastal Touros, PCOM, KCUMB, Western, CCOM, and AZCOM. I can't recommend LUCOM.

So does she have a shot at NYCOM?
