According to quality of life: Depends what you mean by QOL? To me it can be interpretted as 1: warm climate, metropolitan city, low cost of living or 2: small city (because less traffic and usually lower cost of living). You have to make this decision, and especially if you are married or have kids, you have to take your family into consideration.
