Please help with Traffic Citations!

Hello every,

Please help me clear my question. Do traffic citations limit an acceptance to Dental or Medical schools? I have given 3 of this year so far. 🙁(

In the criminal history section I believe AADSAS specifically says "except for minor traffic violations", so it's not something that you'll need to address.

It depends on your state and other circumstances. Is "due care" driving the same as reckless driving? Could be a misdemeanor. If you were speeding a certain amount over the limit or in a school zone it could be a misdemeanor. You'll have to ask a local authority to get a real answer.

And not to be snarky but... maybe you should consider taking a defensive driving course and implementing its teachings.

No. "Due Care" is completely different to Reckless Driving. It said either using phone or radio too loud. Thank you so much.

Well, it is similar in that it is in the same realm as reckless/careless driving... A quick google search shows that failure to exercise due care is a Class A misdemeanor in Tennessee. I don't know where you live, but it is something you should definitely look into.
